Privacy Policy

How First Look collects, uses, and protects your information.

Effective Date: August 26, 2026 · Last Updated: August 26, 2026

1. Introduction

First Look Beauty, LLC ("First Look," "we," "us," or "our") provides a platform that helps medical spas and aesthetic practices create and share client-facing video presentations and related communications (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you, whether you are a spa team member with a First Look account (an "Account User") or a spa's client or prospective client who receives a presentation link, text message, or email (a "Recipient"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. This policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions.

2. Information We Collect

Information Account Users provide

  • Registration details such as name, email address, phone number, and password;
  • Spa or practice information, including provider names, titles, and profile photos or bios;
  • Content uploaded to the Service, such as presentation videos, images, and text;
  • Communications with our support team.

Information about Recipients (clients and leads)

Spas using the Service may submit information about their own clients and prospective clients in order to create and deliver a presentation, including name, phone number, email address, and appointment or treatment-interest details. This information is provided to us by the spa, which is responsible for having the appropriate consent and legal basis to share it with us and to contact that individual. If you are a Recipient and have questions about what a spa has shared, please contact that spa directly.

Information collected automatically

  • Log and device data, such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed;
  • Presentation engagement data, such as whether a video link was opened or viewed;
  • A strictly necessary authentication cookie used to keep Account Users signed in (see Section 7).

3. How We Use Information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
  • To create, host, and deliver video presentations on behalf of spas to their clients and leads;
  • To send transactional text messages and emails as described in Section 4;
  • To authenticate Account Users and secure their accounts;
  • To provide customer support and respond to inquiries;
  • To monitor, detect, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Recipient contact information for our own advertising purposes.

4. Text Messaging (SMS) Program

As part of the Service, a spa may use First Look to send text messages to its own clients and leads — for example, a welcome message with a link to a curated video guide, an appointment or consultation reminder, a post-treatment follow-up, or information about a new treatment the Recipient has expressed interest in. These messages are sent through our messaging provider (Twilio) using the phone number the spa has on file for that individual.

Consent. A Recipient is only texted because the spa represents to us that it has obtained the Recipient's consent to receive text messages, consistent with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and other applicable law. Each participating spa is responsible for obtaining and documenting that consent before submitting a phone number to the Service.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your interactions with a spa (e.g., inquiries, bookings, treatments, and follow-ups).

Message and data rates. Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan.

Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to opt out of future text messages from that sender at any time. Reply HELP for assistance. You may also contact the spa directly or email us at support@firstlook.beauty to opt out.

Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may vary; we and our messaging provider are not responsible for issues arising from unsupported carriers.

We do not share your mobile phone number with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties for purposes unrelated to providing the Service.

5. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to provide the Service:

  • With the spa you interact with — a Recipient's information is visible to the spa that submitted it, since the spa is our customer and the Recipient's provider;
  • Service providers — vendors who host our infrastructure, store data, send text messages and emails (including Twilio and our email delivery provider), and support our operations, under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
  • Legal and safety reasons — where required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of First Look, our users, or others; and
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy or a successor policy.

6. Data Retention and Security

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies

We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep Account Users signed in and to protect the Service against cross-site request forgery. We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Account Users may access, update, or request deletion of their account information by contacting support@firstlook.beauty. Recipients who wish to access, correct, or delete information a spa has submitted about them, or who no longer wish to be contacted, should reach out to that spa directly, or reply STOP to opt out of text messages as described in Section 4. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable law (such as the right to know what information we hold about you or to request its deletion); you may exercise these by contacting us at support@firstlook.beauty.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing information to them.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
